Funeral for a friend return with an album that will turn heads.

For 8 years now funeral for a friend have been at the forefront of the UK’s rock scene. The post hardcore 5 piece have gone through several changes over the last couple of years and have moved into the background of a scene that seems to been taken over by bands from across the pond.
With a disappointing last album some would say the legs on this now aging rock band were going. The new album though, would make the doubters eat their words.
Welcome home Armageddon is wonderful piece of musicianship, beautifully structured, soaring vocals and a sound of what funeral for a friend were a good 5 years ago. The album sounds more like their second album “Hours” than “casually dressed…” with the band bringing back more of their hardcore sound with screams and yells from the now more prominent Ryan Richards on drums.
The album is a reminder to a scene that doubted them, this band is no where near finished and has many more years left in them.
Welcome home Armageddon is out now on Good Fight music and Roadrunner USA.
Must listen songs: Man alive, Front row seats to the end of the world.
